Cell Groups
Do you want to ‘plug in’ to Christ Community Church? Have you been wondering where you can meet new people in a smaller setting and discover a deeper sense of connection to God and the church? Then consider joining a cell group!
What are Cell Groups?
Most of us have experienced the delight of snapping in half that classic English seaside treat – the stick of rock. Everyone knows that a stick of rock never has an identity crisis, as it has its place in the world written throughout its sugary innards. The same is true of Christ Community Church. Snap us in half and you will find cell groups blazoned across our hearts. Cell groups are at the very centre of who we are. They are that important to us!
Cell groups provide an opportunity for people to make friends, grow in their faith and ‘do’ life together in a smaller setting than in our main Sunday meetings. They are informal, friendly and supportive, providing an ideal setting in which to meet new people.
We are committed to building living and dynamic cell communities. As a result, we look to ensure that each of our cell groups is growing in five key values:
1. Jesus at the centre
2. Every member ministry
3. Every member growing
4. Multiplication
5. Community
a. Sacrificial Love
b. Honest relationships
Cell groups meet once a week for a cell meeting. These have a relaxed feel and are hosted by church members, in their homes.
Cell group leaders are people who thoroughly understand the vision, values and culture of Christ Community Church and are able to create a community that is focused on the values listed above.
Cell Group Leaders:
